Songhor: Arrest of Two Citizens by Security Forces

Mohsen Kamyab and Moslem Kamyab, two brothers from Songhor in Kermanshah Province, were arrested by security forces without the presentation of a judicial warrant and transferred to unknown locations.

According to Kolbarnews, on Monday, January 5, 2026, Mohsen Kamyab, and on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, Moslem Kamyab, were violently arrested following a raid by security forces on their family home and were taken to undisclosed locations without any judicial warrant.
As of the time of this report, no precise information has been provided by the security or judicial authorities of the Islamic Republic regarding the reasons for their arrest, possible charges, place of detention, or physical condition.

Efforts by the family and relatives of Mohsen Kamyab and Moslem Kamyab to obtain information about their situation have so far been unsuccessful, increasing concerns about their health and fate.
