Fardin Moloudi, a former political prisoner and one of those arrested during the events of the twelve-day war, has been sentenced to five years in prison.

According to Kolbarnews, Fardin Moloudi, a 36-year-old resident of Sanandaj, has been sentenced by Branch 1 of the Sanandaj Revolutionary Court, presided over by Judge Mostafa Azizi, to five years of discretionary imprisonment on the charge of “assembly and collusion against national security.”
This sentence was issued while Mr. Moloudi has been held in detention for the past five months and, due to physical health issues, is unable to endure a long prison term.
Fardin Moloudi was arrested on Saturday, June 27, 2025, during the widespread wave of detentions following the 12-day war between Iran and Israel, by IRGC intelligence forces in Sanandaj. He was later transferred to the city’s central prison.
It is worth noting that this political prisoner has previously been arrested and convicted multiple times.
