Sanandaj; Hiking Event Held for International Women’s Day

A group of hikers from Sanandaj marked International Women’s Day (March 8) with a special hiking event.

According to Kolbarnews, on Friday, March 7, 2025, a group of freedom-loving and equality-seeking men and women, along with civil and environmental activists and members of the Chel Chemeh group, organized a hike on the “Goyzeh-Kovir” trail in Abidar to honor this occasion. Participants chanted slogans and engaged in discussions about women’s rights throughout the event.

Reports indicate that similar ceremonies commemorating March 8 were also held in the cities of Bukan, Marivan, Baneh, and Sanandaj today.
