Zahid Khalidian, a resident of Qorveh, has been released from prison on bail. His brother, Wahid Khalidian, had also been released on bail earlier in February.
According to Kolbarnews, on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, Zahid Khalidian was temporarily released from Qorveh prison after posting 1 billion tomans in bail, pending the completion of legal proceedings. His brother, Wahid Khalidian, had previously been released in early February after posting 300 million tomans in bail.
Zahid Khalidian had been transferred to the Sanandaj Intelligence Detention Center for interrogation and was later moved to Qorveh prison. During his detention, he was denied access to a lawyer and visits from his family.
On February 4, 2025, security forces arrested the two brothers, Zahid and Wahid Khalidian, in Qorveh.
