Amir Khaledian, a 34-year-old resident of Qorveh, has been released from Qorveh Prison after nearly 50 days in detention. During his detention, he carried out a hunger strike in protest against his continued detention and the prolonged uncertainty surrounding his case.

According to Kolbarnews, Amir Khaledian, who was arrested by the IRGC Intelligence Organization in Qorveh in early June 2026, was released after spending nearly 50 days in the county prison.
No details have yet been published regarding the conditions of his release, any bail or other legal guarantees, or the current status of his judicial case.

According to information received, throughout his detention he was held without any official notification of the charges against him or the progress of the judicial proceedings, leaving him in a prolonged state of legal uncertainty.
Repeated efforts by his family to obtain information from judicial authorities about the reasons for his continued detention and the status of his case reportedly received no clear response.

Amir Khaledian launched a hunger strike in protest against his continued detention, judicial uncertainty, and the lack of transparency in the handling of his case.

According to reports, he was subjected to pressure to obtain a confession during his detention. Despite the passage of several weeks, neither he nor his family was provided with any official information regarding the charges against him or the evidence in the case.

According to reports, Amir Khaledian’s arrest was linked to the January 2026 protests. He had also previously been arrested during the 2022 protests and transferred to the Shahramfar Headquarters in Sanandaj. After two weeks in detention, he was temporarily released on bail, and his previous case was later covered by an amnesty.
