Ahad Mihankhah, a citizen from Oshnavieh, was arrested to serve his five-year prison sentence and transferred to Naqadeh Central Prison.
According to Kolbarnews, in the early hours of Tuesday, October 20, 2026, Ahad Mihankhah was arrested by security forces and transferred to Naqadeh Central Prison to begin serving his five-year sentence.
This citizen had previously been arrested on January 24, 2026, on charges of membership in and cooperation with one of the Iranian Kurdistan opposition parties. He was temporarily released after a period of detention upon posting bail, but was subsequently sentenced to five years in prison.
