Qasr-e Shirin; Arian Rostami Sentenced to 5 Years in Prison

Arian Rostami, a citizen from Sarpol-e Zahab, has been sentenced to five years in prison by Branch One of the Revolutionary Court in Qasr-e Shirin.

According to Kolbarnews, Arian Rostami, a resident of Sarpol-e Zahab, received his sentence on Saturday, September 6, 2025. The verdict was issued by Branch One of the Revolutionary Court of Qasr-e Shirin, presided over by Judge Nariman Shafiee, and officially communicated to Mr. Rostami on the same date. Based on the court ruling, he was sentenced to five years of imprisonment on charges of “membership in a group aimed at disturbing national security.”

According to a source familiar with the case, the court relied on a report from the Qasr-e Shirin IRGC Intelligence Organization as the basis for issuing the verdict.

Arian Rostami, son of Kikavous, is a citizen from Sarpol-e Zahab, located in Kermanshah Province.
