According to Kolbarnews, on Tuesday, November 19, 2025, Moloud Afand, a translator and journalist from the village of Hasanabad in Miandoab County, was arrested by security forces.
According to the report, agents from the Urmia Intelligence Department entered this citizen’s home without presenting a judicial warrant and, after thoroughly searching the premises and confiscating his personal electronic devices, arrested him.
Mr. Afand was transferred to one of the security detention centers in the provincial capital following his arrest.
