Seyed Rahman Hosseini and Ahmad Mam-Sharifi, two citizens from Piranshahr, have been sentenced by the judicial system of the Islamic Republic of Iran to a total of 6 years and 6 months of discretionary imprisonment.

According to Kolbarnews, on Thursday, November 20, 2025, Seyed Rahman Hosseini, a citizen from Piranshahr, was sentenced by the Islamic Revolutionary Court to 3 years and 6 months in prison on the charge of “propaganda against the Islamic Republic.” Ahmad Mam-Sharifi, another citizen from Piranshahr, was sentenced by the Revolutionary Court to 3 years in prison on the same charge.
These two citizens were arrested on Friday, June 20, 2025, by security forces without the presentation of a judicial warrant. They remain in detention.
According to the report, during their time in custody, these citizens have been denied access to legal counsel and family visitation.
