Piranshahr: One Citizen Sentenced to Imprisonment

Rahman Qaderi, a resident of Piranshahr, has been sentenced to eight months of imprisonment by Branch 102 of the Criminal Court of the city.

According to Kolbarnews, Rahman Qaderi, a 25-year-old resident of the village of “Andizeh” near Piranshahr, was convicted of “propaganda against the regime” and sentenced to eight months of imprisonment. His trial was held on December 5, 2024, in Branch 102 of the Criminal Court, and the verdict was officially communicated to him on Sunday, December 8, 2024.

Previously, on November 9, 2024, Mr. Qaderi had been temporarily released from Naqadeh prison on bail of 500 million tomans, pending the conclusion of his legal proceedings. He was initially arrested on August 13, 2024, after being summoned by the IRGC intelligence office in Piranshahr and was subsequently transferred to Naqadeh prison.
