Izeh: Young Bride Dies Due to Lack of Medical Facilities

A 25-year-old newlywed in Izeh County has tragically lost her life due to inadequate medical facilities.

According to Kolbarnews, on February 19, 2025, a young bride named Hajar Ahmadi, 25, from the village of Ardut in the Susan district of Izeh County, died after experiencing sudden abdominal pain and being unable to access an ambulance.

Eyewitnesses from the village reported that, due to the lack of proper roads and medical centers in the area, their attempts to transport her to the hospital using a makeshift wooden stretcher and crossing a narrow bridge were unsuccessful.

This heartbreaking incident once again highlights the severe lack of medical facilities and infrastructure in Iran’s underprivileged regions.
