According to Kolbarnews, on Friday, January 9, 2026, Miad Sadeh-Miri, a 26-year-old Kurdish citizen from Ilam, was killed after being directly shot with live ammunition by suppressive forces of the Islamic Republic. Based on the information received, this citizen was targeted by direct live gunfire on Friday evening during nationwide protests in the city of Ilam and lost his life.
