Bojnord; 29 Days of Arbitrary Detention and Complete Lack of Information About the Fate of Arshia Isaizadeh

Arshia Isaizadeh, a Kurdish citizen from Bojnord, remains in a state of complete uncertainty 29 days after his arbitrary arrest, with no information available regarding his place of detention or his physical and legal condition.

According to Kolbarnews, on Friday, January 9, 2026, Arshia Isaizadeh was arrested by security forces without the presentation of a judicial warrant and was transferred to an undisclosed location. Since the time of his arrest, security institutions have refused to provide any official explanation regarding the place of detention or the condition of this Kurdish citizen.

According to received information, Arshia Isaizadeh’s family has made repeated efforts during this period to obtain information about his fate, but they have received no clear response from the responsible authorities, which has intensified concerns about his safety and fate.

During the 29 days of detention, this citizen has been completely deprived of the right to access a lawyer, make phone calls, or meet with his family, and the continuation of this situation has raised serious concerns about the possibility of pressure, mistreatment, and violations of his fundamental rights.
