Lenouraddin Jasarat, a construction worker from the village of Barasbi, near Salmas, died from gas poisoning while working on a national housing project in Golshahr, Zanjan.

According to Kolbarnews, on Sunday, January 6, 2025, Lenouraddin Jasarat, a construction worker who had moved to Zanjan with his family for work, lost his life due to carbon monoxide poisoning. The accident occurred when he used a portable cooking stove for heating in the resting area, which led to his fatal poisoning.
In 2023, a total of 2,115 workers (2,094 men and 21 women) died in work-related accidents, marking an 11.3% increase compared to the 1,900 fatalities recorded in the previous year.
Iran ranks 102nd globally in workplace safety, a very low position, making it one of the most hazardous countries for worker safety. Every year, a significant number of workers experience accidents or fatalities due to inadequate workplace safety standards.
