Hamed Biabani, a 24-year-old young man from Songhor County in Kermanshah Province and a resident of Tehran, is another victim of the nationwide protests in Tehran who was killed during the crackdown on protesters by direct fire from live ammunition by government forces.

According to Kolbarnews, on the evening of Thursday, January 9, 2026, Hamed Biabani, a resident of Songhor County in Kermanshah Province and living in Parand, Tehran Province, was directly shot three times with live ammunition by suppressive forces of the Islamic Republic while attempting to help his injured friend during the protests in Tehran, and lost his life.
The body of this young Kurdish man was transferred to his hometown and buried in Sonqor County.
The handover of the bodies of those killed in the protests is usually accompanied by security pressure and control by government institutions.
In many cases, families are placed under direct surveillance to restrict details of funeral ceremonies, the number of participants, and the burial location.
This process has often forced families to choose alternative routes and surrounding areas to bury their loved ones.
