Statistics on Those Killed, Injured, and Arrested During Iran’s Revolutionary Uprising

According to statistics released by the Professor Nurse Network, based on medical sources inside Iran, the number of people killed during the revolutionary nationwide uprising against the Islamic Republic has reached at least 30,274.
These figures are derived from hospital-recorded cases and are presented with a city-by-city breakdown.

According to Kolbarnews, the highest number of fatalities has been recorded in Tehran, with 8,354 deaths. This is followed by:

Mashhad: 2,893
Isfahan: 1,935
Shiraz: 1,920
Qom: 1,850
Kermanshah: 1,850
Karaj: 1,753

Fatality figures reported for other cities include:

Ahvaz: 1,020
Rasht: 986
Tabriz: 620
Zahedan: 593
Ardabil: 489
Kerman: 365
Urmia: 350
Yazd: 326
Hamedan: 320

In addition, a total of 4,650 deaths have been attributed collectively to other cities across the country.

The authors of the report stress that due to internet shutdowns, severe communication restrictions, and the imposition of what they describe as an “undeclared martial law” particularly in eastern regions and parts of Kurdistan, accurate data from all areas is not available.
Therefore, the published figures represent minimum confirmed numbers, and the actual death toll is likely significantly higher.

According to the same sources, the number of people injured during the uprising is estimated to exceed 350,000, while the number of detainees is believed to be in the thousands, although comprehensive and official statistics on arrests have yet to be fully released.
