In a tragic incident caused by a collision and subsequent fire involving two Sukhtbar vehicles in Sarbaz County, one Baloch Sukhtbar lost his life, and another was injured.

According to Kolbarews, on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, the two vehicles collided violently in the Kehiri area of Sarbaz, resulting in a fire. As a result, one Sukhtbar was injured, and another lost his life.
The deceased Sukhtbar has been identified as Mehrdad Abdolzehi, an 18-year-old from Iranshahr, who succumbed to severe burn injuries at Khatam al-Anbiya Hospital in Iranshahr.
The injured Sukhtbar has been identified as Saud Dehani, also around 18 years old and from Iranshahr.
Sukhtbari considered one of the unconventional and dangerous occupations that many Baloch people in Balochistan are forced to engage in due to the lack of suitable and stable employment opportunities. Accidents, vehicle overturns, and direct shootings by military and security forces are some of the dangers that threaten the lives of Sukhtbars. According to reports by Baloch activists, in 2024, at least 240 Baloch Sukhtbars lost their lives due to shootings by military forces, traffic accidents, and vehicle fires, while 135 others were injured in these incidents, 19 of whom were children.
