Ako Soltani, a 31-year-old citizen from Saqqez, has been arrested by the forces of the Intelligence Department of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and so far no information about his condition or place of detention is available.
According to Kolbarnews on Saturday, March 21, 2026, Ako Soltani, a citizen from Saqqez, was arrested following a raid by Intelligence Department forces on his private residence, using violence, and was transferred to an unknown location.
Based on obtained information, during this operation, security forces searched the house and arrested this citizen with violent treatment, transferring him to one of the detention centers affiliated with security institutions.
A source close to the Soltani family has stated that the charge brought against him has been described as “use of Starlink satellite internet equipment.”
Several days after the arrest, the efforts of this citizen’s family to obtain information about his condition and place of detention have remained unsuccessful, and absolute lack of information about his fate continues.
