Mohammadreza Mansouri, a 26-year-old Kurdish Khorasani (Kurmanj) resident of Rasht, was one of those injured during the nationwide protests on Friday, January 9, 2026. He was seriously wounded after being directly shot with pellet ammunition by Iranian security forces and died after 25 days of suffering from his injuries.

According to Kolbarnews, Mohammadreza Mansouri was transferred to Poursina Hospital in Rasht and received medical treatment, but the severity of his injuries prevented doctors from saving his life. He ultimately died on February 2, 2026.

According to received information, Mohammadreza Mansouri had recently become a father, and his child was only two months old. His body was buried under strict security measures and with limited family presence at Baghe Rezvan Cemetery in Rasht.
