Farhad Karimi, a citizen from Naqadeh, has been sentenced to six months of imprisonment by the Criminal Court of this city.

According to Kolbarnews, Farhad Karimi, a citizen of Naqadeh, was sentenced to six months of imprisonment by Branch 103 of the Criminal Court of this county, presided over by Judge Hejazi, on the charge of “collaboration with one of the Kurdish opposition parties.”
Farhad Karimi was arrested on June 23, 2024, in the city of Naqadeh by security forces without the presentation of a judicial warrant.
After his arrest, he was first transferred to one of Urmia’s detention centers and, after the completion of interrogation procedures, was moved to Naqadeh Prison.
Mr. Karimi was eventually released from Naqadeh Prison on Wednesday, August 21, 2025, after posting bail.
During his detention, this citizen was denied access to a lawyer.
