Sepideh Qolian, Pouran Nazemi, and Narges Mohammadi three well-known civil activists were violently arrested by security forces during the seventh-day memorial ceremony of Khosrow Alikordi and taken to an unknown location.

According to Kolbarnews, on Friday, December 12, 2025, security forces stormed the memorial ceremony of Khosrow Alikordi, the deceased lawyer and human rights defender, and arrested the three civil activists Sepideh Qolian, Pouran Nazemi, and Narges Mohammadi without providing any explanation.
The status and whereabouts of Qolian, Nazemi, and Mohammadi remain unknown, and their families and those present at the ceremony are worried about their safety.
Khosrow Alikordi, an attorney from Sabzevar residing in Mashhad, who had represented a number of political prisoners and detainees from the nationwide 2022 protests, passed away on the evening of Friday, December 5, 2025.
He was a well-known figure in the field of human rights defense and in pursuing cases involving violations of the rights of political prisoners.
These arrests indicate the continuation of security pressures against civil activists and human rights defenders in Iran, and concerns about their fate have increased.
