Osman (Shwaneh) Jahani-Far, Yousef Qal, and Rahman Dana, three residents of Mahabad have been released from the city’s prison on bail.
According to Kolbarnews, on Thursday, April 11, 2025, the three individuals were freed after posting bail.
They had been transferred to Mahabad Prison from a security detention facility in Urmia following the completion of their interrogations.
Their arrest had occurred on December 15, 2024, carried out by security forces without presenting a judicial warrant and accompanied by searches of their homes.
As of the time of this report, no information has been released regarding the reasons for their arrest or the charges against them.
