Mansour Abbasi, Ahad Khayri, and Vahed Khayri, three citizens from Mahabad County, were arrested by security forces amid the continuing wave of arbitrary arrests of citizens and transferred to an undisclosed location. No information regarding their condition or whereabouts has been made available.
According to Kolbarnews, in the early hours of Monday, May 25, 2026, security forces raided the homes of Mansour Abbasi, Ahad Khayri, and Vahed Khayri, three young men from the village of “Bafrawan” in the “Shamat” region of Mahabad County.
Without presenting a judicial warrant, the forces arrested the three citizens and transferred them to an unknown location.
According to received information, Ahad Khayri and Vahed Khayri, who are brothers, were arrested simultaneously along with Mansour Abbasi.
At the time of writing this report, no information has been released regarding the reasons for the arrest of these three citizens, their place of detention, their health condition, or any possible charges against them.
