Amirhossein Naderi, a resident of Islamabad-e Gharb, is another victim of the popular protests in this city who lost his life after being directly shot with live ammunition by government forces during the crackdown on protesters.

According to Kolbarnews, on the evening of Thursday, January 9, 2026, Amirhossein Naderi, a young man from Islamabad-e Gharb in Kermanshah Province, was directly targeted by live gunfire from suppressive forces of the Islamic Republic during nationwide protests in the city and was killed.
His body was buried on Saturday, January 11, 2026, in the cemetery of the village of Zavareh-Kuh.
As of the time of preparing this report, it remains unclear whether Amirhossein Naderi’s family was forced to pay money or sign a written pledge in order to receive his body.
However, informed sources had previously told Kolbarnews that government institutions have demanded sums ranging from 700 million tomans to one billion tomans from families in Kermanshah in exchange for handing over the bodies of those killed in the protests.
Reports further indicate that, in most cases involving those killed in the protests in Islamabad-e Gharb, security forces have not allowed families to bury the bodies in the city’s main cemetery, forcing them instead to transfer their loved ones’ remains to surrounding villages for burial.
Additionally, reports suggest that security agencies have pressured the families of some victims to attribute the shootings to Kurdish opposition parties. At the same time, military and security forces reportedly raided Islamabad-e Gharb Hospital on January 9 and 10, attempting to arrest injured protesters. As a result, many families secretly removed the wounded or the bodies of the deceased from the hospital to avoid detention.
