Eight days after the arrest of two Kurdish brothers from Ilam, Mehdi Namizad and Ali Namizad, there is still no information available about their place of detention or condition.
According to Kolbarnews, on Friday, February 6, 2026, Mehdi Namizad and Ali Namizad were arrested by security forces without presenting a judicial warrant and transferred to an unknown location.
According to received information, no official institution has so far provided any explanation regarding the reasons for their arrest, possible charges, or their place of detention, and their families’ follow-ups have remained unanswered.
These two brothers have also been deprived of the right to access a lawyer, telephone contact, and family visits since their arrest and are being held in complete uncertainty.
