According to Kolbarnews, on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, security forces and plainclothes personnel from the IRGC Intelligence Organization raided the family home of Arin Tarvand and arrested him. According to reports received, this 21-year-old man from Mehran in Ilam Province was subjected to violent treatment by security forces during his arrest and was transferred to an unknown location with his hands and eyes bound.

Despite three days having passed since his arrest, Arin Tarvand’s family remains unaware of his place of detention and condition. Security authorities have so far provided no explanation regarding the reasons for his arrest.
