Hadi Parhamat, 30, and Qasem Parhamat, 37, two brothers from Sirvan County in Ilam Province, have been held in detention for 28 days, and there is still no information about their condition, place of detention, or fate. Their family’s concerns about their safety and well-being have increased.
According to Kolbarnews, on Saturday, January 10, 2026, Hadi and Qasem Parhamat were arrested by security forces without the presentation of any judicial warrant and transferred to an unknown location. Hadi Parhamat was arrested following a violent raid by security forces on the family home in Sirvan County, while Qasem Parhamat was arrested at the same time in the city of Ilam by security forces.
According to received information, the family of these two citizens has repeatedly contacted security and judicial authorities over the past weeks to obtain information about their sons’ situation, but they have not received any clear response. During the 28 days of detention, Hadi and Qasem Parhamat have been deprived of access to a lawyer and family visits, and they have only had one brief phone call with their family.
