According to Kolbarnews, on the evening of Thursday, January 8, 2026, Amirali Jalilian, a 65-year-old citizen from Eslamabad-e Gharb (Shabad), was directly shot by suppressive forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran during nationwide protests in the city and was seriously injured.
Based on the information received, after being hit by gunfire, he was transferred in critical condition to a medical center and, after five days of hospitalization, lost his life due to the severity of his injuries.
