Bukan; Temporary Release of Two Citizens After 80 Days of Detention on Heavy Bail

Rahim Shilani and Azad Rasoulifard, two citizens from Bukan, after about 80 days of detention, were temporarily released from the prison of this county upon posting heavy bail.

According to Kolbarnews, in recent days, Rahim Shilani, son of Osman, born in 1975, and Azad Rasoulifard, son of Rahim, born in 1980, who had previously been arrested by security forces, were each released from Bukan prison after posting bail of three billion tomans.

These two citizens had been arrested on Friday, January 30, 2026, without the presentation of a judicial warrant, during a raid by security forces, and were transferred to an unknown location.

Based on the information received, these two citizens were subjected to intensive interrogations and torture during their detention in one of the security detention centers and were later transferred to Bukan prison.

As of the time of preparing this report, no precise information has been published regarding the reasons for their arrest or the charges attributed to them, and they were deprived of the right to access a lawyer throughout their detention period.
