In the first eleven days of Israeli airstrikes on Iran, 26 provinces have been targeted, 974 people have been killed and 3,458 injured, 705 citizens have been arrested, and at least three individuals have been executed on charges of espionage. Iran’s internet has also experienced widespread disruption for the fifth consecutive day.

According to Kolbarnews, from the early hours of June 13th to June 23, 2025, the Israeli army has launched consecutive attacks on 26 provinces of Iran. Provinces such as Tehran, Fars, Kermanshah, Yazd, Khuzestan, Alborz, West and East Azerbaijan, Qom, and Isfahan are just part of the areas targeted in recent days. In Tehran, official sources have announced that more than 200 sites have been hit. The total human toll so far has been reported as 4,432 people, of whom 974 have been killed and 3,458 injured. Among the dead are 387 civilians, 268 military personnel, and 319 with unidentified status. Additionally, 1,564 civilians, 256 military personnel, and 1,638 individuals with unclassified status have been injured. In recent days, numerous cases of rescuers, firefighters, athletes, and even children being killed have been reported in official and independent reports. One known victim is Kian Ghasemian, a five-year-old child who was killed along with his family in a residential strike. Dozens of children have been reported killed so far.
Alongside human casualties, civilian and urban infrastructure has also been severely damaged. Parts of factories, sports federations, medical centers, the Ministry of Energy, Red Crescent peace buildings, Evin Prison, and large areas of residential neighborhoods in Tehran, Karaj, Tabriz, Shiraz, and Yazd have been directly hit. In Tehran province alone, it has been announced that over 90 percent of bombed targets were residential homes. During the attack on Evin Prison, the roof of the women’s ward collapsed, telephones were cut off, and the wards were forcibly evacuated.
In terms of internal security, during the first 11 days, 705 citizens have been arrested on political or security charges. Among them, 281 individuals were arrested due to online activity about the Israeli attacks. Another 424 individuals were arrested on security-related charges such as espionage, drone deployment, collaboration with foreign media, and bomb-making. Cases of foreign nationals being detained have also been reported, including one woman in Chalous, three Afghan nationals in Pakdasht, and one European citizen in Hamedan. So far, at least three individuals have been executed on charges of spying for Israel.
Internet outages have now entered the sixth day, and in many regions, digital communications have been severely restricted. The Ministry of Communications has stated that the reason for the restrictions is to prevent military misuse of internal networks. This widespread disruption has impacted banking, healthcare, education, and family communications in crisis-hit areas and has paralyzed many small businesses. At the same time, disruption in live TV broadcasts, the blocking of news websites, and the airing of military marches by state media have further complicated the country’s security situation.
