Yasuj; Arrest of a Citizen by Intelligence Forces

Mahsa Shafiee, sister of one of the martyrs of the Jina revolutionary uprising, was arrested by IRGC Intelligence in Yasuj.

According to Kolbarnews, on Thursday, July 17, 2025, Mahsa Shafiee, sister of “Parsa Shafiee,” one of the martyrs of the Jina revolutionary uprising in Yasuj, was arrested by IRGC Intelligence forces in the city with the use of violence and was transferred to the detention center of this security institution.

Based on this report, on the morning of the same day, the father of this family was summoned by phone by IRGC Intelligence, where he was pressured and threatened. After his return, security forces again raided the family’s home, arrested Mahsa Shafiee, and transferred her to solitary confinement in the IRGC Intelligence detention center in Yasuj.

As of the time of this report, there is no information about the reasons for the arrest, her current condition, or any charges possibly filed against Mahsa Shafiee.

Parsa Shafiee, born on September 9, 2004, was killed during the protests of December 2022, coinciding with the Jina revolutionary movement in Yasuj.
