Amin Karimi, a theater artist and actor from Urmia, known by his stage name “Amino,” was released from Urmia Central Prison on bail after 51 days of detention.

According to Kolbarnews, on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, Amin Karimi, a theater artist and actor from Urmia known as “Amino,” was temporarily released on bail from Urmia Central Prison until the completion of judicial proceedings, after 51 days of detention.
On Monday, August 11, 2025, Mr. Karimi was transferred to Urmia Central Prison after the completion of his interrogation at the Intelligence Department’s detention center. According to the report, during his detention, he was denied access to a lawyer and family visits.
On Tuesday, July 1, 2025, Amin Karimi was arrested by security forces at the Serow border terminal in Urmia while returning from Turkey.
It should be noted that Mr. Karimi had previously been arrested during the “Jina revolutionary uprising” and was released after one month of interrogation.
