According to Kolbarnews, on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, Farshad Faraji, a citizen from Tekab County, was arrested by security forces.
Based on this report, security agents arrested him for the purpose of enforcing his sentence of one year and two months of imprisonment and transferred him to Miandoab Prison.
It is said that prior to this, an arrest order had been issued for Farshad Faraji for transfer to prison, and at the same time his bank account had also been blocked. This citizen was arrested by security forces while visiting one of the banks.
Farshad Faraji, in the fall of the current year, was sentenced by the Tekab Revolutionary Court, presided over by Judge Hazrati, to one year and two months of discretionary imprisonment on charges of “propaganda against the system” and “insulting the leadership.”
This citizen had previously been arrested on May 19, 2025, without the presentation of a judicial warrant by security forces. During this arrest, his home was searched and his mobile phone was confiscated. After two days of detention and the formal notification of charges, he was temporarily released on May 21, 2025, upon posting bail in the amount of three billion tomans.
