Military forces have arrested a Baloch Sukhtbar and set an excessively high bail for his release.
According to Kolbarnews, on Thursday, October 16, 2025, military forces in the city of Shusef, located in South Khorasan Province, arrested a Baloch Sukhtbar identified as Zaher Barahouei on charges related to Sukhtbari.
Reports indicate that judicial authorities have set a bail of 20 billion tomans for Mr. Barahouei’s temporary release an amount that, according to his relatives, far exceeds the family’s financial means, effectively preventing his release from detention.
