Nowzad Bahrami, a resident of Marivan, remains in limbo at the detention center of the Sanandaj Intelligence Department.
According to Kolbarnews, Nowzad Bahrami is still being held at the Sanandaj Intelligence Detention Center without clear legal status. The report states that he was arrested on February 11, 2025, by security forces at the Bashmaq border crossing while returning from the Kurdistan Region.
He was subsequently transferred to the Intelligence Department’s detention center in Sanandaj for interrogation.
During his detention, Mr. Bahrami has been denied access to legal representation and family visits.
