Sanandaj: Jabbar Avihangi Released on Bail

Jabbar Avihangi, a resident of Sanandaj, has been released from prison on bail.

According to Kolbarnews, on Monday, February 3, 2025, Jabbar Avihangi was temporarily released from prison on bail after 22 days of detention by security agencies, pending the completion of legal proceedings.

On Monday, January 13, 2025, Avihangi, a resident of the village of “Avihang” in the Sanandaj region and currently living in the city, was arrested by security forces at his workplace and transferred to an undisclosed location.

Jabbar Avihangi is an employee of Sanandaj Municipality.

As of the time of this report, no information is available regarding the reasons for his arrest or the charges against him.
