An interrogation session for Farshid Abdollahi, the father of Hooman Abdollahi, one of the martyrs of the 2022 nationwide protests, was held at the Second Branch of the Prosecutor’s Office of the Public and Revolutionary Court in Sanandaj.

According to Kolbarnews, on Sunday, January 5, 2025, Farshid Abdollahi appeared at the Sanandaj Prosecutor’s Office to face charges. During the session at the Second Branch of the Prosecutor’s Office, he was charged with “propaganda against the regime and disturbing public opinion.” He was ultimately released on bail. Participation in the memorial ceremony for “Dayeh Ferasat Jafar Qeshlaqei” was cited as one of the grounds for the charges against him.
Farshid Abdollahi had been summoned to the Second Branch of the Prosecutor’s Office in Sanandaj on January 3, 2025, after receiving an official notification.
It is worth noting that Hooman Abdollahi, a 21-year-old resident of Sanandaj, lost his life on December 7, 2022, in the Hassanabad neighborhood of the city after being shot by security forces during the nationwide protests.
