Sanandaj; Continued Detention of Six 17-Year-Olds from Kamiyaran in Shahrāmfar Security Detention Center

More than ten days have passed since the arrest of six 17-year-olds from Kamiyaran Kavan Sabouri, Ouraz Zamani, Behrouz Rashidi, Soran Mozaffari, Payam Hosseini, and Ehsan Sabouri, yet no information about their fate is available.

According to Kolbarnews, these six children remain in an unknown condition. On Sunday, September 14, 2025, five of them Kavan Sabouri, Ouraz Zamani, Behrouz Rashidi, Soran Mozaffari, and Payam Hosseini were transferred from the Kamiyaran Intelligence Office’s detention facility to the Shahramfar security detention center in Sanandaj for interrogation.
The sixth child, Ehsan Sabouri, was transferred to the Sanandaj Juvenile Correctional Center. Security forces have refused to provide any information to their families, increasing concerns over their wellbeing.

On Tuesday, September 8, 2025, security forces arrested Soran Mozaffari (who suffers from diabetes and requires regular insulin injections), along with Ouraz Zamani and Behrouz Rashidi, both 17 and from the village of Palangan in Kamiyaran, and transferred them to an undisclosed location. On Thursday, September 11, 2025, Payam Hosseini, a 17-year-old from the village of Loun Sadat, was also arrested and taken to an unknown location. In the early hours of Friday, September 12, 2025, Kavan Sabouri and Ehsan Sabouri, both 17 and from the village of Gazorkhani, were arrested in a similar manner.

It should be noted that security forces raided the homes of all six children without presenting a court warrant and violently detained them.

As of the time of this report, no information is available regarding the charges or reasons for their arrest.
