Two Baloch Sukhtbars were injured after being directly shot by Pakistani military forces at the Pirkoor border near Rask.

According to Kolbarnews, on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, two Baloch Sukhtbars, including a teenager, were shot by the Pakistani army in the Pirkoor border area of Rask County.
As a result, one of the individuals sustained severe injuries and was transferred to the intensive care unit at Velayat Hospital in Rask.
The two injured Sukhtbars have been identified as Abuzar Dehmani, 17, son of Abubakr, and Ali Dehmani, 20, son of Rashid, both residents of Ganjabad village, a district of Rask.
Sukhtbari considered one of the unconventional and dangerous occupations that many Baloch people in Balochistan are forced to engage in due to the lack of suitable and stable employment opportunities. Accidents, vehicle overturns, and direct shootings by military and security forces are some of the dangers that threaten the lives of Sukhtbars. According to reports by Baloch activists, in 2024, at least 240 Baloch Sukhtbars lost their lives due to shootings by military forces, traffic accidents, and vehicle fires, while 135 others were injured in these incidents, 19 of whom were children.
