Six months after her arrest, the date for the court session to address the charges against labor activist Sharifeh Mohammadi has been set.
According to Kolbarnews, after six months of detention and uncertainty, Sharifeh Mohammadi, a labor activist held in the quarantine ward of Lakan Prison in Rasht, will have her court session on June 9, 2024, at Branch 1 of the Revolutionary Court in Rasht.
Sharifeh Mohammadi was arrested by Intelligence Ministry agents at her home on December 5, 2023. On December 30, 2023, she was transferred from Lakan Prison in Rasht to Sanandaj Prison, and after a while, she was returned to Lakan Prison. After three months, she was moved from solitary confinement to the general ward of Lakan Prison in Rasht.
It is noteworthy that Sharifeh Mohammadi was beaten after being transferred to Sanandaj Prison.
As of the time of this report, the reasons for her arrest and the charges against this labor activist are unknown.
