Qasr-e Shirin: Arrest of a Citizen by Security Forces

Vahid Shadman, a resident of Qasr-e Shirin in Kermanshah Province, was arrested by security forces without the presentation of a judicial warrant and transferred to an unknown location.

According to Kolbarnews, on Thursday, January 8, 2026, Vahid Shadman was arbitrarily arrested by security forces and taken to an undisclosed location.
Two days after his arrest, no precise information has been provided by the security or judicial authorities of the Islamic Republic regarding the reason for his arrest, possible charges, place of detention, or physical condition.

Efforts by Vahid Shadman’s family and relatives to obtain information about his situation have so far been unsuccessful, increasing concerns about his health and fate.
