Piranshahr: Three citizens arrested and transferred to prison

Shwaneh Khezrnezhad, Ahad Khezrnezhad, and Omid Khezrnezhad were arrested to serve their prison sentences and transferred to Naqadeh Prison.

According to Kolbarnews, on Monday, November 10, 2025, three citizens from the village of Gerdebeneh in Piranshahr County; Shwaneh Khezrnezhad, Ahad Khezrnezhad, and Omid Khezrnezhad were detained for the execution of their prison sentences and taken to Naqadeh Prison.
The report states that these three individuals had previously been sentenced by Branch 1 of the Mahabad Revolutionary Court to three years in prison each on charges of “collaboration with an opposition party of the Iranian government.”

On Monday, January 22, 2024, Shwaneh and Ahad Khezrnezhad were arrested by security forces. Later, on Saturday, January 27, 2024, Omid Khezrnezhad was detained after being summoned to the Piranshahr Intelligence Office.

Finally, on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, the three citizens were temporarily released from prison after posting bail of 2 billion tomans each, pending completion of judicial proceedings.

After the interrogation phase concluded, they were transferred to Naqadeh Prison to serve their sentences.
