Piranshahr: Suleiman Choupani Sentenced to Over Two Years in Prison

Suleiman Choupani, a resident of Piranshahr, has been sentenced to two years and seven months in prison by the regime’s court.

According to Kolbarnews, Branch 102 of the Criminal Court in Piranshahr convicted Mr. Choupani on charges of “membership in one of the Kurdish opposition parties against the regime.”

Mr. Choupani was arrested on September 6, 2023, by regime security forces without any judicial warrant. He was transferred to Naqadeh prison on September 18, 2023, after completing his interrogation, and was later released on bail.
