After 9 days since the arrest of “Hesam Esmaeili,” a citizen from Piranshahr, there is still no clear information about his place of detention or his condition, and his family’s concern continues.
According to Kolbarnews, on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, Hesam Esmaeili was arrested by security forces without presenting any judicial warrant. After his arrest, this citizen was transferred to one of the security detention centers in Urmia for interrogation and has so far been deprived of the right to access a lawyer and meet with his family.
Based on received information, security institutions have so far provided no clear explanation regarding the reason for his arrest, the charges against him, or his legal status, and the situation of uncertainty continues.
