Oshnavieh: Violent Arrest of 17-Year-Old Milad Ebrahimzadeh

Milad Ebrahimzadeh, a 17-year-old and nephew of political prisoner Isa Ebrahimzadeh, was violently arrested by security forces and transferred to the Ministry of Intelligence detention center.

According to Kolbarnews, on Sunday, May 11, 2025, Milad Ebrahimzadeh was detained by Intelligence Ministry agents in the village of Deh-Shams, near Oshnavieh. Agents raided his family’s home and arrested him with force and physical assault in front of his relatives, transferring him to a Ministry detention facility.

Reports indicate that despite having no prior legal record, Milad is under intense physical and psychological pressure to make forced confessions to charges such as possession of weapons and ties to Kurdish opposition parties.

This arrest is part of a broader pattern of state pressure on the Ebrahimzadeh family.

Milad’s uncle, Isa Ebrahimzadeh, a detainee from the Woman, Life, Freedom movement, is currently serving a sentence in Naqadeh prison.
