According to Kolbernews, on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, Yousef (Ehsan) Karami, a 26-year-old resident of Naqadeh, was arrested and transferred to the city’s prison to serve a six-month prison sentence.
According to this report, the Revolutionary Court of Naqadeh had sentenced him to six months in prison on charges of “propaganda against the regime.” He had previously been arrested by security forces and was temporarily released on bail after completing interrogation procedures.
Yousef Karami had also been arrested and tortured by security forces for a week during the Jina revolutionary uprising.
