Bahman Mohammadpour, a young citizen from Piranshahr, remains in detention in Naqadeh Prison with no clear resolution, more than six months after his arrest.
According to Kolbarnews, Mohammadpour, a resident of the village of Shinabad near Piranshahr, has been in detention in Naqadeh Prison for over six months without any progress in his case. He was arrested in early May 2024 for the second time by security forces. After several days of interrogation by the Piranshahr Intelligence Office, he was transferred to Naqadeh Prison. According to a well-informed source, due to the interference of the Piranshahr Intelligence Office, Mohammadpour’s case has not followed the proper legal process, and no court session has yet been held to address the charges against him.
Previously, during the Jina revolutionary movement, Mohammadpour was also arrested without a judicial warrant by security forces. After completing the interrogation process, he was temporarily released on bail.
