Mohammad Aminifar (Jokhur), a resident of Naqadeh, has been arrested and transferred to prison to serve his sentence after appearing at the Execution of Sentences Office in the city’s public and revolutionary prosecutor’s office.
According to Kolbarnews, on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, Mohammad Aminifar was taken into custody after being summoned to the Execution of Sentences Office and was subsequently transferred to Naqadeh prison.
In January 2025, he was sentenced to 29 months in prison by Branch 1 of the Mahabad Revolutionary Court, presided over by Judge Sajad Dousti, on charges of “membership in an opposition party”.
Aminifar was initially arrested on December 31, 2024, by security forces and taken to a detention center in Urmia for interrogation. He was later released on bail of 2 billion tomans before being summoned back to serve his sentence.
Mohammad Aminifar (Jokhur) is the son of Fattah, born on September 21, 1984.
