Amin Khaledi Hassanabadi has been sentenced by the Revolutionary Court of Urmia to five years in prison.

According to Kolbarnews, Amin Khaledi Hassanabadi, a citizen currently held in Naqadeh Prison, was sentenced by Branch 2 of the Urmia Revolutionary Court, presided over by Judge Shahini, to five years of discretionary imprisonment on the charge of “assembly and collusion to commit crimes against the country’s internal security.”
According to received information, the trial of this citizen was held in September 2025, and the verdict was communicated to him at Naqadeh Prison later that same month.
Amin Khaledi Hassanabadi was arrested earlier this year in Oshnavieh by security forces and, after several weeks of interrogation and torture aimed at extracting forced confessions, was transferred from the Urmia security detention center to Naqadeh Prison.
It is said that, like many other similar security cases, this case was built on vague charges and without the defendant’s access to a lawyer during interrogation and trial.
