Mahabad; One Citizen sentenced to six months in prison

Keiyvan Mamehgoli, a citizen from Mahabad, has been sentenced to six months in prison by the Revolutionary Court of this city.

According to Kolbarnews, Keiyvan Mamehgoli, a resident of Gog Tappeh village, a district of Mahabad County, was sentenced by Branch 1 of the Mahabad Revolutionary Court to six months of imprisonment on the charge of “propaganda against the regime.”
The verdict was officially issued to him on Tuesday, October 14, 2025.

Keiyvan Mamehgoli was arrested on June 18, 2025, by security forces without a judicial warrant and transferred to one of Mahabad’s security detention centers.

After the completion of his interrogation, he was temporarily released from Mahabad Prison upon posting bail, pending his court hearing.
